Think you have sharp eyes?
This hidden-object puzzle looks simple at first.
You’re shown a cozy bedroom filled with furniture, decorations, books, bedding, and everyday objects.
Your challenge is to find four things:
A pillow.
A book.
A cup.
An egg.
Three of them can be spotted relatively quickly.
But the fourth object has caused much more confusion because it doesn’t appear where most people expect to find it.
Before reading further, take another careful look at the picture.
Can you find all four?
The Pillow Is Probably the Easiest
Start with the pillow.
This one shouldn’t take very long.
Several striped pillows are clearly visible on the bed, including one that closely resembles the example shown in the puzzle.
Because pillows naturally belong on beds, your brain already knows exactly where to search.
That’s one reason this object feels so easy compared with the others.
The puzzle isn’t really hiding it.
It’s warming up your attention for what comes next.
The Book Is Also Relatively Easy to Find
Now search for the book.
Again, the bedroom gives you several possibilities.
Books appear in multiple places throughout the scene.
One can be seen on the purple blanket.
Others are arranged on the shelf above the bed.
There’s also a smaller book on the windowsill near the man.
So finding a book isn’t particularly difficult.
The challenge becomes deciding which one the puzzle designer intended as the closest match to the example.
Then Comes the Cup
The cup makes things more interesting.
At first, your eyes may go directly to the green mug on the bedside table.
That certainly looks like a cup.
But look higher.
On the wall shelf above the bed is another cup with a red-brown appearance and visible handle.
Its shape more closely resembles the reference object shown in the puzzle.
For that reason, the cup on the shelf is generally the stronger intended match.
Three objects down.
Now comes the difficult one.
