At first glance, this picture appears to show nothing more than a confusing collection of blue branches.
Look a little longer, however, and something begins to change.
Hidden somewhere within the tangled woodland pattern are three animals:
A moose, a squirrel, and a bear.
All three are blended into the surrounding branches, making this visual puzzle much trickier than it initially appears.
Can you find them all?
Don’t Look for Normal Animal Pictures
The secret to this challenge is understanding that the animals aren’t presented as obvious illustrations.
Their shapes are disguised within the surrounding lines.
A branch that appears completely ordinary may actually form part of an animal’s body.
Several curves that seem unrelated may suddenly become a head, back, leg, or tail once your eyes recognize the larger pattern.
That’s why simply searching for a clearly drawn animal may not work.
Instead, try looking at the entire arrangement of shapes.
Can You Find the Moose?
Start by searching for the moose.
Think about the features that would make its silhouette recognizable.
Its large body and distinctive antlers may provide useful clues, but the surrounding branches can make those shapes difficult to separate from the background.
Don’t rush.
Sometimes staring directly at one area makes the hidden image even harder to see.
Try changing your viewing distance and looking at the picture again.
Now Search for the Squirrel
The squirrel may require a completely different approach.
Instead of looking for something large, pay attention to smaller shapes and curves.
A squirrel’s distinctive body and tail could potentially blend easily into a pattern filled with twisting branches.
Remember that the surrounding lines are designed to distract you.
Try to identify groups of lines that work together rather than studying each branch individually.
