Three Blondes Were Fishing by a River—Then the Game Warden Asked for Their Licenses

Three blondes were enjoying a quiet afternoon beside a river, each holding a fishing rod with a line floating in the water. Everything seemed perfectly peaceful—until a game warden suddenly appeared.

He walked over and asked the women to show him their fishing licenses.

The three women looked at each other.

Unfortunately, none of them had one.

The situation could have become awkward very quickly. But instead of admitting that they were fishing without licenses, one of the women confidently offered an explanation.

“We’re not fishing,” she told the warden.

The game warden looked at the fishing rods, then at the lines disappearing into the river.

“Then what exactly are you doing?” he asked.

The woman calmly explained that they had magnets attached to the ends of their lines. They weren’t trying to catch fish at all. They were simply collecting pieces of metal and other debris from the bottom of the river.

The warden wasn’t completely convinced at first.

So he took a closer look.

Sure enough, there were horseshoe magnets attached to the lines.

He examined the setup for a moment, apparently finding nothing obviously wrong with collecting metal debris in that way.

Finally, he shrugged.

“If that’s what you’re doing, go ahead,” he told them. “You can collect all the debris you want.”

The women thanked him and watched as he walked away.

For a few seconds, they remained completely silent.

Then they knew they were in the clear.

And that’s when the real joke began.
